ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAMPING TRIP

LAKE CACHUMA July 8 – 11
Elementary School campers will take a four-night adventure to Lake Cachuma, a state park north of Los Angeles in the mountains behind Santa Barbara. Besides learning how to set up a tent, cook at a campsite and work as part of a team to keep the camp ship-shape, campers will visit the old Danish town of Solvang for a day of shopping and sightseeing. Another day will be spent at the beach in Santa Barbara, ending with dinner at a beach-side restaurant. The final night will be a talent show where campers will sing, dance and act their way into the camping history books for 2008!
